§ 02 — MARKET VIEW

A Positive Finish to the Week

Kitco’s latest reference after the September 25 session showed gold at USD 4,284.20 bid and USD 4,286.20 ask, with the displayed change at +USD 10.40.

Silver stood at USD 64.16 bid and USD 64.41 ask, with the displayed change at +USD 0.45.

The broader precious-metals board also showed platinum at USD 1,773.00 bid and USD 1,783.00 ask, while palladium stood at USD 1,251.00 bid and USD 1,291.00 ask. Rhodium moved in the opposite direction, with Kitco displaying USD 8,675.00 bid and USD 9,675.00 ask.

The latest reference points to continued firmness across several precious metals. For jewelry buyers, however, short-term market movements remain only one part of the value of a finished piece. Design, craftsmanship, finishing, wearability, and personal significance remain equally important considerations.

§ 03 — WHAT THIS MEANS FOR JEWELRY BUYERS

Market Prices Move. Meaning Endures.

Precious-metal prices can change from one session to the next, while a thoughtfully selected jewelry piece is often chosen with a much longer perspective.

Rather than focusing only on daily market movement, considered jewelry buying should take into account craftsmanship, proportion, comfort, design quality, personal style, and how naturally the piece can become part of everyday life.

At SAMVELLI, jewelry is selected for how it is worn, remembered, and valued over time.
